Calvet Chateauneuf Du Pape 2022

With roots dating back to 1818, Maison Calvet boasts an impressive two centuries of winemaking heritage. Jean Marie Calvet, born in the Rhône Valley, led the family's wine journey across France.

This classic wine is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre aged on the lees and then part of it in oak. This Limited Release Calvet Chateauneuf du Pape is rich and complex, with wonderful red layered notes of bright cherry and black fruit aromas. Coarse on the palate, the dark fruits carry through to meet a heady, spiced note. Will pair exceptionally well with lamb, pork or poultry.
