Calvet Lirac 2021

Situated on the opposite bank of the Rhône from the renowned Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac shares many similarities but stands out for its accessibility. The wines from Lirac typically embody the classic southern Rhône blend, showcasing Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsaut. The majority of production, around 85 per cent, consists of full-bodied red wines.

This particular wine is an outstanding representation of the Syrah and Grenache blend. Expect vibrant notes of mulberry and blueberry intertwined with hedgerow, damson, and earthy undertones.
