Merlot dominant blend from Bordeaux! Well balanced, full bodied and bursting with flavour, this Merlot/Cab Sauv from Chai des Bordes is easy on the palate and your wallet.
A dancing ruby red colour with a subtle nose layered with hints of whortleberry, prunes and dried fruits. Think notes of dried fruit, plum, cinnamon and clove. It’s done well with age but 30 minutes in the decanter wouldn’t hurt. Full-bodied and well textured on the palate, revealing the smooth character of the merlot towards the finish.
Perfect with red meat, poultry and soft cheese.
