Description
Medium depth. Clean, bright. Ruby red colour with purple iridescence on the rims. On the nose, intense, fresh. The vegetal aroma (pepper) combines perfectly with the fruit aromas (pomegranate, plum, blackcurrant, blackcurrant, black fruit) that appear later. In the background, the notes of its time in oak (vanilla and roasted coffee) are perceived.
On the mouth, young. Structured, full-bodied. Very smooth tannin. Fruity sensation. Pleasant in the mouth, balanced. Long aftertaste. Reminiscences of
black fruit and, very subtly, of the toast from the barrel.
It matches very well with ham tapas, spanish potato omelette. It can also be combined with rabas (fried squid) and fried fish.
