Freakshow Red is a mash-up of man meets wild...Syrah’s untamed and mysterious allure is refined and polished with the addition of Petite Sirah. Prepare your eyes and taste buds for a FREAK like no other!

Deep dark ruby in colour, Freakshow’s 2019 Red Wine blend is filled with aromas of raspberry, violet, spice and butterscotch candies. Full bodied but smooth and polished, flavors of black cherry, coffee and blueberry are interwoven with cinnamon and wood smoke, carrying through the smooth and lasting finish.

15% abv. 12 months - 100% French oak (8% new).

With over 150 years of family farming, the Michael David name has become more than just a winery; it’s a culture. Their roots run deep in Lodi as they've been farming this soil since the 1860’s and cultivating wine grapes since the early 20th century. Their founders, brothers Michael and David Phillips, are 5th generation grape growers who have raised their families in the vineyard, and now the 6th generation has joined the team, Mike’s son Kevin and daughter Melissa. They, more than most, understand the importance of leaving it better than you found it for future generations. Their family legacy and love of Lodi drive our focus on sustainability.

Their unconventional collection of wines are all responsibly grown in Lodi, California according to the Lodi Rules, a set of over 100 standards that account for all aspects of making quality wine in a sustainable manner: environmental, social, and economic.
